To electronically file your federal or Iowa tax returns with Mote CPA, you will need to download and complete these forms :
You will need Acrobat Reader to download and print forms, if you do not have a copy, you may download one here for free.
First, download IRS form 8879
If you are also filing your Iowa electronically, you will need Iowa form IA8453
Second, download the E-filing instructions for your participating credit union:

Just complete both forms and drop them off with your completed tax return at your participating credit union or bring directly to Mote CPA, whichever is more convenient!
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What else do you need to file my tax return electronically?
A: We need your completed, signed income tax return with forms W-2 and/or 1099-R attached. The forms need to be complete, as if you intended to mail them in.
Q: My Credit Union is not listed above, can I still E-file through Mote CPA?
A: Yes, just bring your completed tax return directly to Mote CPA
Q: I would like my refund to go to a different financial institution, is that possible?
A: Yes, just choose the second option under "Step 3" and write in the financial institution name, routing number and account number.
Q: Mote CPA prepared my tax return, do I need to do complete these forms?
A: No, these forms will be prepared for you at our office
Q: If I just include my W-2s, etc, will Mote CPA prepare and E-file the return for me?
A: No, unfortunately there is other information that is needed to prepare your return. You can make an appointment for tax preparation by calling 515-271-8183
Q: In prior years I used the federal and state E-file form 8453, where can I find it?
A: The IRS no longer uses form 8453. Form 8879 replaces the old form 8453.
